Revolutionary War Royal Highland Emigrants Vest Button (84tReg Foot)

Vest size 17mm. As dug, npshank site undertermined.  Examples are found at various posts along Canada fronir, Haldimand, Niagara, Quebec and elemets fought in NY Campaign, Sataoga, Charleston, Eutaw Springs, Savannah, and Yorktown.  This is a great example of a rare and hard to find Loyalist buttong.  See Troiani, Insignia of Independence p. 146 for examples.
