Revolutionary War era Militia ir Minuteman style Horn

Up for your consideration is a wonderful early soldiers powder horn that came out of Northfield, Massachusetts. Carved twice into the flat pine wood plug are the soldier's initials "WM". There is a large forged iron "rose head" nail for strap attachment & the spout is carved nicely with a flaring trumpet shape.  Roughlt 14 in. long. These are early features found on French & Indian to Rev War horns. There are 4 large wood pins holding the plug in to the horn.  Excellent over-all original condition with a beautiful untouched patina.
