Revolutionary war era Broad Arrow Marked British 6 lb Cannon Ball

Revolutionary war era Broad Arrow Marked British 6 lb Cannon Ball dug many years ago on private property at Ft. Haldimand, NY. Could be as early as French and Idian War era.  Weights approx. 5 lbs. 13 oz and measures 3.5 in. across. 1 in. tall BA.  Ft. Haldimand was a British fort in upstate New York that served as a depot and staging area for incursions and invasion of the United incl. Burgoyne (Saratoga) campaign.  The Fort continued to be occupied by the British after the war.  Due to the cold freshwater mud in this area the site has yieled spectacuar artifacts over the years.  This ball is worthy of th finest collections.  Final picture is of a very similar 9 lb example in the Charleston Museum.
