American Militia Officer's Sword, possibly New Hampshire, last quarter 18th century, brass hilt with open branch counter guard and large round quillon, curved knuckle bow connected to the counter guard by a small riveted brass fitting, round pommel on a plain cherry grip with ferrules at the top and bottom; curved single-edge blade with single fuller and false edge at the tip, blade lg. 26 7/8, overall lg. 32 7/8 in.
