Revolutionar War Royal Provincial (Loyalist) Coat Button

Coat size 22mm. Bent as dug, full shank site undertermiend.  Examples are found at most sites where Loyalist units served.  This is a great example of button worn by the Loyalist infantry under the command of Col. Tavington in Mel Gibson's The Patriot.  See Troianie, Insignia of Independence p. 169 for examples.
