Original Revolutionary War Connecticut treasury office pay document for Amos Couch. Couch served in Captain Daniel Allin's Company of Colonel Samuel Wyllys 3rd Regiment Connecticut Line which saw action during the New York Campaign. This is essentailly an IOU for his service.  The document measures approx. 8.5 x 4 inches in size. The document is in solid shape exhibiting some period folds and general wear. The document has a circular cancel hole and a few small strips of museum quality archival tape securing fold lines on back. There are also several ink interest notations and signatures on the back of the document. Ideal for framing own a piece guranteed to have been handled by a Continental soldier.
