Late 18th c. Federal era to War of 1812 era Officer's small campaign or travel desk.  Used by a gentleman or officer to record the details of life , business or military service.  Small corner damage that does not distract from the piece.  Measures about 12 inches by 8.75 inches.  Great patina and condition .  Fantastic display piece from the birth of our nation.
