Late 18th c. Blacksmith made Boot Handle Side knife with period sheath. Knife is good shape, with nicks to the blade and heavy age patina and wear to the leather sheath. Boot handled knives were a popular design in the late 18th c. Knife purported to from the well known and respected the Kravic collection. A very unique item and likely a blacksmith copying the style of the day. Roughly 8 in. long with a 4 in. handle.
