18th c. F & I War- Revolutionary War era dug hand grenade, from an old New York collection and sold at Skinner Auctions. Dig location uncertain, but believed to be in NY state. Many other examples found around Ft. Ticonderoga. 3" in. in diamater and weighs roughly 2 pounds. See Neumann, G. C., Kravic, P. 131.
