Early Federal Period American Horseman's Saber

1785 to 1800 Hamitlon and Constitution era Horsemans sword from the founding era. Overall length: 41". Blade length: 36". Plain blade w/ a single narrow fuller extending 3 1/2" from the tip to 20" from the tip. Brass, modified D guard hilt w/ plain crossguard & disk quillon. Chamfered knuckle bow joins a plain, simple bird's head pommel & a plain backstrap. Leather wrapped grip. No scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a medium gray patina w/ a few nicks to the edge. Hilt is a bit loose & slightly misshaped. Grip leather is quite dry but 95% complete
