Battle of Saratoga Musket Ball and 2 British Coins dug near the Park in a dipsplay case.  This set was recenty found and coins have a pre war date on them.  At the Battle of Saratoga on October 7th, 1777, American forces defeated Burgoyne at Freeman's Farm resulting in a complete surrender of British forces and one of the most important victories in American history.  As a result of this stunning victory, France announced its open support for American Independence.
