1810-1830 American Militia Painted Cheesebox Canteen

American militat cheesebox canteen from the the early 19th c.  Looks to be orange,  brown and gold paint.  All original with tight construction Calligraphy HSG painted on front.  Would have been used by an officer or one of the wealthier militia companies.  Roughly 6 in. by 1.75 in.  In excellent shape and rare.  From an old Rhode Island collection.
