1680-1700 Dutch Redware Mug

A. c.1680 to 1700 Dutch widemouth cup, Redware with orange slip decoration in excellent condition and without any cracks or major chips found in New York.  This is the kind of mug that would have been imported to the colonies for use on the Dutch Colonies of New York or to trade with the English colonists.  ex.
