Revolutionary War Battle of Bunker Hill Musket Ball Set Extremely Rare
American buttona and British musket ball In 1845 the Boston Times reported on a find of relics from theRevolutionary War while a well was being dug on the site of the famous Battle of Bunker Hill listing items found includingskeletons of British soldiers, musketballs, buttons, and othermiscellaneous relics. We show the actual article above andthe items are from that excavation and were in an
old collection formed in the 19th century. You will note
they mentioned the wrong date as the battle took place
in 1775 not 1776. All relics fromthis collecion come with copy of
article. This is the rarest of sites to find musket balls from and in 25 years the first time we have seen Bunker Hill come on the market. Only a handlful of sets available and we were lucky to obtain the last.
